Privacy Policy
We take the privacy of everyone who contacts us extremely seriously, particularly those reaching out for support.
Who we are
Puranda CIC is a Community Interest Company based in the United Kingdom. We are the data controller for personal information collected through this website.
Information we collect
We collect only what we need: your name, email address, telephone number and the content of your message when you complete an enquiry, volunteer, partnership or support form; and your name, contact details and delivery address when you place a merchandise order.
How we use your information
We use your information to respond to your enquiry, deliver services and programmes you have asked to take part in, fulfil merchandise orders, and — only where you have asked us to — send you updates about our work. We do not sell your data and we do not share it for marketing.
Sensitive enquiries
Enquiries relating to domestic abuse, wellbeing or safeguarding are treated with additional care. They are visible only to authorised members of the Puranda CIC team and are stored securely. If you are worried about someone seeing your activity, use the Quick Exit button on our Community Support page and clear your browser history.
How long we keep it
We keep enquiry records only as long as needed to support you and meet our legal obligations, and order records as long as required for accounting purposes.
Your rights
Under UK GDPR you may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal data, and object to certain processing. To make a request, or to raise a concern, contact us through our Contact page. You may also complain to the Information Commissioner's Office (ico.org.uk).
