We exist to empower individuals, families and communities, including Black, diverse and minority ethnic groups, to recognise their worth, unlock their potential and create lasting positive change.
Our lioness symbolises courage, protection, leadership and resilience, reflecting our commitment to standing beside those who need a voice, support and the opportunity to rise.

On this Women’s Day, I honor the truth many women carry quietly: that strength is often forged in environments that try to deny it. In a world where systems can feel artificial, unjust, or designed to silence us, women — especially those who lead, serve, and stand firmly in their boots — continue to rise with dignity. Some have faced betrayal, dismissal, or the inhumanity of being treated as less than equal simply for standing tall. Yet resilience has always been our answer.
Women who serve their communities, their countries, and their families embody a courage that cannot be simulated or erased. When a woman’s voice is challenged, it is often because her truth carries power. Our integrity — our commitment to freedom, fairness, and the right to live with dignity — becomes the compass for the generations watching us.
We remember the legacy of leaders like Rev. Jesse Jackson, whose advocacy for justice and human dignity helped widen the path for many voices to be heard across cultures and communities. That spirit reminds us that progress is never given; it is carried forward by those brave enough to stand for it.
So today we celebrate women who refuse to shrink, women who protect and uplift children and communities, and women who lead with grace even in difficult moments.
If our voices were not meaningful, they would not be challenged. And because they are meaningful, we continue strong, resilient, and united — empowering the next generation to inherit a world where equality, integrity, and compassion are not ideals, but everyday realities.

Empowerment — Veterans
They Served Us. Now It’s Our Turn to Stand With Them.
What happens to a soldier when the war ends but the battle inside them doesn’t? In memory of Lee Rigby, and in honour of every veteran who has served our country, we are raising funds to support veterans experiencing PTSD, loneliness, isolation, anxiety and the devastating effects of losing their sense of purpose and belonging.
Lee’s name reminds us that service can demand the ultimate sacrifice. But there is another battle happening quietly every day. A veteran sitting alone. A veteran struggling to sleep. A veteran carrying memories they cannot explain. A veteran who feels disconnected from the world they once served.
We cannot see every wound. That does not mean it isn’t there.
This campaign exists to help veterans reconnect with life through sport, physical activity, community, peer support, wellbeing and meaningful opportunities — creating spaces where people can rebuild confidence, friendships and purpose.

Empowerment — Culture & Community
Two Cultures, One Community
There is something powerful about embracing both Caribbean and Asian cultures — appreciating the traditions, values, food, music and family connections that make each one unique.
Celebrating my friends’ 10th wedding anniversary reminded me how beautiful it is when cultures come together with respect, warmth and unity. Seeing grandparents, parents, children and friends sharing laughter, food, music and dance was a beautiful reminder that culture should never divide us — it should bring us closer.
Our differences are part of our beauty, but our shared values of family, respect, compassion and togetherness are what create harmony.
Let us honour where we come from, respect each other’s heritage and teach the next generation that different cultures can stand proudly together — not apart.
